New premium limited edition joins One Gin’s Award-Winning Classic British Sage and Sage & Apple gins in funding life-changing water projects around the world.
One Gin is adding a new premium gin to its range, combining its classic IWSC Gold award winning sage gin with the aromas and flavours from delicate port ageing to create a distinctive and elegant gin, perfect for the festive season.
The hand-crafted, limited edition, port barrel rested gin is being released on pre-order today and will be delivered to consumers in time for Christmas. It will retail at £39 per bottle (50cl) and will be available exclusively from www.thespiritofone.com and a few hand-picked independent retailers.
Created by laying down One Gin’s signature premium Sage Gin in reclaimed port barrels, One Gin’s latest release is a smooth, distinctive ruby gin bursting with spice, warm vanilla and toasted oak. It is perfect neat, as a winter G&T, or in a stirred cocktail such as a Negroni.
One Port Barrel Rested Gin joins an established family of gins which elevate fresh sage as a leading botanical. One Gin has developed a loyal following of quality and ethically minded consumers for its range of products, which includes the IWSC Gold award-winning One Sage Gin, as well as One Sage & Apple Gin, currently available in selected Tesco stores.
One-Gin co-founder Ian Spooner comments:
‘We rested One Gin’s award-winning classic sage gin in freshly emptied port barrels to produce a delicious, ruby coloured gin, bursting with spice and complex characters. Port and sage are a match made in heaven and we are very excited to bring this limited edition to the One Gin family, especially for Christmas. It is a superb gin which should appeal to gin lovers looking for something exciting and different this festive season. With 10% of our profits going towards clean water projects around the world, we are delighted this new release will also do some good.’
