Sipsmith Limited Edition Sipspresso Coffee Gin Review

Sipsmith are back, once again, with another new gin release. Attention all coffee lovers! We are very excited to introduce to you Sipsmith’s new, coffee flavoured gin – Sipspresso Coffee Gin.

Following on from the recent launch of FreeGlider (Sipsmith’s first alcohol-free spirit), this new expression is the third release in their Sipping Series – joining the series’ Strawberry Smash and Chilli & Lime variants.

Teaming up with speciality coffee company, Pact Coffee, Sipsmith have managed to create a “wonderfully aromatic and smooth spiced coffee gin”.

Sipsmith Coffee Gin

The gin is made using a base of Sipsmith London Dry Gin blended with Pact’s Fruit and Nut Espresso blend (featuring Brazilian and Rwandan ground coffee beans) alongside cinnamon, coriander, vanilla, and banana – wow, how amazing does this sound!

“As with all of our innovative limited edition Sipping Series gins, we crafted Sipspresso Coffee Gin to our exact standards.

“We ensured the same level of uncompromising commitment to quality and sustainability in our coffee supplier Pact Coffee who work with farmers from three continents to ethically source the finest ingredients for their premium coffee.” – Jared Brown, Sipsmith Master Distiller.

The result is a “delightfully rich, warm and indulgent gin with a smooth and balanced finish.”

Serving Recommendations

Sipspresso Coffee Gin can be enjoyed in a classic G&T, served with ice and a long orange peel twist to garnish. Or why not try a ‘Coffee White Russian’ made with Sipspresso Gin, cream, milk, and sugar syrup, served in an ice-filled espresso mug with a garnish of chocolate powder and coffee beans.

Of course, we had to try it in an Espresso Martini – and it did not disappoint!

Sipspresso Coffee Gin (70cl/ABV 37.5%) is available to buy from Tesco, Waitrose, sipsmith.com and Amazon by clicking here, priced at RRP £28.50.
